The UAD-2 Powered Plug-Ins platform offers the world’s most authentic analog hardware emulations and award-winning audio plug-ins for Mac and PC. Powered by our popular DSP Accelerator hardware, UAD-2 plug-ins deliver rich, analog sound quality that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with native recording systems.

From rare compressors and equalizers, to vintage reverb processors and tape machines, UAD-2 Powered Plug-Ins inject three-dimensional “out-of-the-box” analog sound to your in-the-box mixes.

Denoising

With noise reduction, we can reduce the amount of environmental noise recorded during a particular recording. Whether it’s a tape, a vinyl, or a radio show, our professional tools will remove unwanted noise without altering the original sound of the recording. Using the appropriate sniffing technique, we can improve the sound of old or newer recordings with problems.

It is of great importance for all of us listeners and authors and holders of copyright to preserve and reproduce invaluable historical recordings. Recognizing this, we include in our services the restoration and digitization of old recordings.

Video

At Cue Productions, there is the possibility of videotaping the session in the studio. Cameras can be placed in all areas, even in the booths, which are connected to the central video control room from where they are controlled. The videos are recorded via the leading Wirecast program and are all synchronized and ready for post production for offline editing.

Sound Editing

Ideally, one piece should have been performed during recording in the required specifications. But to a great extent, tonality errors, vocal errors or arrhythmias can be corrected by applying the appropriate tuning, pitch correct and quantizing techniques. Unattractive bumps or notes can be removed and replaced appropriately with the right material.

The process of processing undertakes the “cleaning” of the raw pieces being recorded, by cutting the unwanted noise from individual segments and, where possible, eliminating any errors made during execution. Besides, excellent vocals play a critical role in the success of your song. At Cue Records Studio we have the tools and knowledge to make your vocals sound in perfect harmony, while maintaining your physical qualities and tone of voice.

Phil Jones combos and cabs employ multiple 5-inch drivers exclusively, and both the Suitcase and 4B extension cab each feature four of these ferocious little piranhas. The output of four of these mini-woofers is comparable to a heavy-duty 10-inch woofer-that is, if you could find one with a massively huge 4-inch voice coil. Taking a closer look at the controls and features, the Suitcase provides two channels, each with its own 5-band EQ. This is especially useful on doubling gigs, allowing you to dial in a tone that works for each instrument; or to control feedback on the upright without mucking up the tone of your electric bass.
